- Description
The Desta pants feature a wide, flattering leg and an elastic waistband for a comfortable, relaxed fit in a striking color-block combination of three shades of blue, paired with bands of neutral cream and white, inspired by handmade indigo quilting and African textiles. The elastic waist offers a comfortable and secured fit.
Hand-woven in Ethiopia, this silhouette is made of soft hand-spun cotton for a light and comfortable feel.
ABOUT LEMLEM
Lemlem (which means ‘to flourish or bloom’ in Amharic) is an artisan-driven brand of beautiful resort womenswear made entirely and responsibly in Africa, with a core mission of preserving the local art of weaving in Ethiopia and inspiring economic growth on the continent. Recognizing the beauty, quality and historic significance of their work, Ethiopian-born supermodel Liya Kebede started Lemlem in 2007 as a way to inspire economic independence in her native country and to preserve the art of weaving. Lemlem has since expanded its presence in Kenya with ready-to-wear and Morocco with swimwear.
